Those Batibot chairs

Ever wondered how those humble Batibot chairs were made?

Some kind of contraption for bending metal.
  Some molds.

 How the holes are punched.

 Voila!

Something big and neon green all over

Pasong Tamo extension in Makati City is getting more hip these days. Lots of cool spaces mushrooming. This one is called ID. You cannot miss it with all its neon directional signs. These are some of the stuff I liked.

Swarm

The first time I saw this hand painted chair inside Antropologie's Regent St. store fitting room, I knew it was special. I took a souvenir photo and the shop girl shouted out loud no taking photos. What's the fuss it was just a pretty fitting chair I thought.
Then I chanced upon a documentary on the Sundance channel featuring Anthropologie's buyer Keith Johnson and I saw where the chair came from!

These are from Leslie Oschmann from Amsterdam, artist and owner of Swarm.

I love Samantha French's painting.
Sadly I can't afford them yet.
Maybe I'll go with the prints for now.

Love the types on these

Surprisingly

... this place was empty and it's the Saturday before Valentine's.

Any excuse to see Manila

Today Summer came.
