One Stitch at a Time

I first heard about Yarn Bombing thru our new found friend and joy guru Ingrid Fetell and I cannot get enough of them since!

It's a stealth movement from across cities that gives joy to urban dwellers and city landscapes by covering or wrapping mundane, everyday objects in yarn. They do it small scale like putting leg warmers on park statues to big structures like yarn graffiti on buildings.

Believed to have originated in the U.S. with Texas knitters trying to find a creative way to use their leftover and unfinished knitting projects.

These works range from cute to simply incredible.
