City Guide to New York Part I: Broadway, Union Square & Flatiron

888 Broadway

Slightly across Fishs Eddy is another shop that's easy on the eye called ABC Carpet and Home. It has this old world, aging attic vibe complete with creaking hardwood floors and crystal chandeliers - something like Miss Havisham's estate in Great Expectations but with much thoughtful taste. I just love the carefully laid out vignettes of items in every corner.

ABC sells all type of rugs, furniture, chandeliers, stationery, chandeliers and even handmade coats from Tibet. The Conran Shop, another well loved store by Domino and Anthologie enthusiasts which sell iconic and modern furniture pieces is located at the basement.
